Physical Description
Vellum, about 7 7/8 in. by 5 1/8, consisting of 115 leaves, the first of which, being blank, is not numbered. A few of them are slightly stained and soiled. The quires, signed with letters, are 12 in number. There are from 23 to 33 lines in each page.
Hand 1 (sole, Unspecified Syriac script):
This volume is written in a good, regular hand of the ixth
cent.
Decoration (Ornamentation):
There are some attempts at ornamentation, e.g. foll. 11 a, 17 a, etc.
Decoration (Rubrication):
Green paint has occasionally been used for the rubrics, e.g. foll. 3 b, 4 a, 5 a, 6 a, 7 b, and 23 a.

The margins of this volume exhibit many proper names and other words, written in Greek uncials, as well as numerous Bible- references. The Biblical texts are only occasionally given in full, e.g. fol. 52 b.
Addition 3:
On fol. 112 b, at the foot of the page, there is a note of more recent date, stating that this manuscript belonged by purchase to one Bar-ṣaumā. The latter part of this note has been effaced.
