Physical Description
Vellum, about 10 1/8 in. by 6 7/8 , consisting of 50 leaves, many of which are much stained and torn, especially foll. 2, 4, 7, 8, 11, 18— 21, 30, 38, 39, 44, 45, and 48—50. The quires are signed with letters, but only one of them (ܝܛ fol. 30) is complete, leaves being wanting at the beginning, as well as after foll. 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 14, 20, 21, 23, 24, 27, 39, 42, 46, and 47. Each page is divided into two columns, of from 27 to 32 lines.

Addition 1 (Fol. 50b):
On fol. 50 b there is a note, which, besides being stained and torn, has twice suffered alteration and erasure. Of the original writing we can read, in the first and second lines, the words:
ܒܟܣܐ . . . ܫܢܬ ܬܫܥܡܐܐ ܘܥܣܪ ܙܒܝܢ . . .
and below:
ܡܢ ܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ . . . ܕܝܠܗܘܢ ܥܒܕܘ ܠܗܘܢ ܟܬܒܐ . . . ܩܐ ܕܡܙܡܘܪ̈ܐ ܠܩܕܝܫܐ
which show that the book was purchased by, and in all likelihood written for, certain persons in the year 910, A.D. 599.
Addition 2 (Fol. 50b):
The next owner was a priest, whose name is now effaced, for in the fourth line we read, in a different hand, the words (sic)
ܢܟܦܐ ܘܪܚܝܡ ܐܠܗܐ ܩܫܝܫܐ
Addition 3 (Fol. 50b):
The third possessor was Isaac bar Abraham bar Dīnārā of Tagrīt, from whose hands the manuscript passed into the library of the convent of S. Mary Deipara, A.D.932:
ܗܝ ܟܬܒܐ ܠܐܝܣܚܩ ܒܪ ܐܒܪܗܡ ܒܪ ܕܝܢܪܐ . . . ܬܓܪܬܢܝܐ ܕܩܢܝܗܝ ܐܝܟ ܕܠܝܘܬܪܢܐ [ܕܝܠܗ] ܟܠ ܡܢ ܕܫܩܠ ܠܗ ܘܫ [ܐܝܬܘ].
