Physical Description
Vellum, about 7 1/4 in. by 5 1/4, consisting of 93 leaves, a few of which are slightly stained and soiled, especially foll. 1, 9, 10, and 93. The quires, signed with letters, were originally 11 in number; but the first is altogether lost, and the last is imperfect. There are from 20 to 31 lines in each page.

This volume is written in a neat, regular hand of the ixth cent.

Item 1 (Fol. 1a): An abridged recension of the Geoponica

Notes:
- Bk. I. is wanting.
- The peculiar features have been described by De Lagarde in his "De Geoponicon Versione Syriaca Commentatio," Leipzig, 1855; see also his "Gesammelte Abhandlungen," 1866, p. 120. He has edited the text, with the title "Geoponicon in sermonem Syriacum versorum quae supersunt," Leipzig, 1860.
- The work is divided into 14 discourses or books (ܡܐܡܪ̈ܐ), each consisting of several heads or chapters (ܪ̈ܝܫܐ).

each; the times of sowing and gathering in; manures and their preparation; etc. [defective]

- Slightly imperfect at the beginning, part of the index of contents being lost.
