Physical Description
Vellum, about 8 7/8 in. by 7, consisting of 104 leaves, some of which are slightly stained and torn, especially foll. 1—7, 19, 40, and 102—104. The quires, signed with letters, were originally 13 in number. Leaves are missing at the beginning and end, as well as after foll. 1 and 7. Each page has from 16 to 20 lines.
Hand 1 (major, Estrangela script):
This volume is written in a clear, rather angular Estrangela, with numerous
Syriac vowel-points.
Hand 2 (minor, ):
A later possessor has endeavored to rub out the names of the heretics
Diodorus, Theodore and Nestorius on fol. 5a. The same
person, in all likelihood, effaced the rubrics on fol. 19
a and fol. 40 a.
