Physical Description

Vellum, about 5 7/8 in. by 4 1/2, consisting of 161 leaves. The quires, signed with letters, were originally 17 in number, but the first is now lost. There are from 16 to 20 lines in each page.

Hand 1 (major, Unspecified Syriac script): This manuscript is written in a good, regular hand, dated A. Gr. 1444, A.D. 1133.
Hand 2 (minor, Unspecified Syriac script): On foll. 158—160 there are some prayers, written by different hands.
Hand 3 (minor, Unspecified Syriac script): The note on fol. 161 a was written by Romanus, the son of Rabban Bar-saumā, the chief priest of Ra'ban, from Kal'at ar-Rūm (ܩܠܥܐ ܪܘܡܢܬܐ, ), who had been carried away captive by the Egyptian troops.
