Physical Description

Vellum, about 10 1/2 in. by 7 1/8, consisting of 118 leaves, the first of which is much soiled and torn. The quires, signed with letters, were originally 14 in number, but ܐ and ܝܕ are lost, and ܒ is imperfect, a couple of leaves being missing after fol. 1. Each page is divided into two columns, of from 38 to 48 lines.

Hand 1 (major, Estrangela script): The text is written in a good, regular Estrangela of the ixth cent.
Hand 2 (minor, Unspecified Syriac script): The notes are written in a smaller, cursive hand, some of them having been added at a later date
