Physical Description

Vellum, about 8 1/4 in. by 5 1/8, consisting of 145 leaves, many of which are much stained by water. Foll. 1, 2, 73—77, 144, and 145, are also more or less torn. The quires, which appear to have been signed with letters, are 15 in number. There are from 28 to 32 lines in each page.

Hand 1 (major, Unspecified Syriac script): The writing is a neat, regular Estrangela of the vith or viith cent.

Addition 1 (Fol. 144b): The extract from a discourse on the Baptism of our Lord, written on foll. 144 b and 145 a, is in a more recent, current hand.

Addition 2 (Fol. 145b): On fol. 145 b there is a note. The date given, A.
